We are very excited to share with you all the wonderful news that we found 8 year old Abdul Momin’s family and he has been reunited with them. The little boy was found wandering in an injured condition on the streets by one of our transgender volunteers who brought the child to us. Our team immediately brought him to a hospital to treat a really bad injury on his foot. But the child was so scared and stressed (as you can see in this and the previous video) and he did not know the way back home, so now we had to somehow find his family, which is not easy in a city as big as Karachi. But thanks to our field workers and volunteers and all of you who shared his video, we were able to locate the child’s family in Machar Colony within 24 hours. His family was so worried looking for him for many days and expecting the worst, so you can imagine how they felt when we brought little Abdul Momin back to them.
