SEARCH AND RECOVERY OF MISSING CHILDREN

We recover and reunite missing children with their families through an innovative neighborhood early warning system. We have developed a vast network of thousands of volunteers working in a wide variety of public spaces, including street vendors, workers at roadside shops and restaurants, PCO operators, imams of local mosques, and members of the Khwajasira transgender community.

We also operate a 24-hour nationwide Helpline – 1138 – for reporting missing children cases. This Helpline is the first of its kind, not just in Pakistan but all of South Asia. We receive reports of missing children though our helpline and our referral partners. We collect, print, and rapidly disseminate photos and information through our network of volunteers and gather reports of any possible sightings.

Through our Search and Recovery program, we have served more than 30,000 families and safely recovered more than 11,000 missing children so far.
