Roshni Helpline, in Collaboration with Ehsaas-e-Insaniyat Foundation

In collaboration with the Ehsaas-e-Insaniyat Foundation, Roshni Helpline held a community awareness session for residents for Machar Colony, Kemari. The day-long session focused on raising awareness on the issue of missing and exploited children and teaching basic child protection guidelines to parents as well as children of the neighborhood. Machar Colony is one of the largest slum areas of Karachi where children are at greater risk of abduction and exploitation, which is the reason why there was such an urgent need for this intervention. We hope that regular awareness-raising activities of this kind will make a significant difference in the lives of children living in high-risk areas throughout Pakistan.
