Resolution on Missing and Exploited Children

At the National Conference on Missing and Exploited Children 2022, held on the occasion of World Children’s Day, on 19 November 2022 in Karachi, the delegates to the conference adopted a resolution on missing and exploited children.

This resolution is a historic step, putting into writing a firm commitment for the prioritization of missing and exploited children throughout Pakistan. 

The resolution was signed by all those present, including the Governor of Sindh, Mr. Kamran Tissori, the heads of child protection authorities and social welfare bureaus from across Pakistan, senior law enforcement officials, media personnel and representatives of various nonprofit organizations.

Text of the Resolution:

“We re-affirm our commitments to make the issue of missing and exploited children a national priority and that we will do everything to ensure our joint collaborative efforts from this platform to keep Pakistan’s children and future safe.”
