Missing, Exploited Children and Cyber Safety Awareness Session
Child protection is everyone’s responsibility. To raise awareness of child protection, Roshni Helpline - 1138 in Karachi organized Missing, Exploited Children & Cyber safety Awareness Session for the students of Quaid-e-Azam Rangers School & College, Super Highway, Near Toll Plaza, Karachi on 01-Nov-2018. The session was conducted with 81 girls and 130 boys between 14-18 years of age of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. It was our honor to have Col. Zakaullah (Pakistan Rangers) as our chief guest. The session was followed by question & answers round, LIVE Theater performance and inspirational speeches of Col. Zakaullah (Pakistan Rangers), Mr. Malik Saeed Sarwar (Member - Roshni Helpline - 1138) and Mr. Muhammad Ali (President - Roshni Helpline - 1138)
Meeting with Federal Minister for Human Rights & Railways
The President of Roshni Helpline - 1138, Mr. Muhammad Ali met with Ms. Roshan Khursheed Bharucha - Federal Minister for Human Rights & Railways where Director to Minister for Railways, Director Vigilance - Ministry of Railways and Director General - Ministry of Human Rights also attended the meeting. Mr. Muhammad Ali presented a comprehensive presentation of Roshni Helpline's work and its services and highlighted the severely major issues of child protection especially missing children in railway stations of major cities.
Awareness Sessions on Missing and Exploited Childen
Child protection is everyone's responsibility. To raise awareness of child protection; The Roshni Helpline - 1138 has been organizing awareness sessions on Missing and Exploited Children. The session includes girls and boys between 14 to 17 years of age group. These sessions are followed by Question & Answers round and open discussion.
